“Unfortunately, I am not able to play in the final in Abu Dhabi tonight. I’ve been sick today with fever and I’m not fit to play. I said it after my match last night, the crowd here was amazing and they’ve shown love of tennis. I always find inspiration in them, to try and play my best, which leaves me more disappointed not to be able to play this time. I’ve had a great week in Abu Dhabi, tried to meet as many fans and coach some young players, while playing with the best players in the world. I love being a part of this tournament, and feel bad for not having the chance to fight for the trophy. Congrats to Murray, and I’m sure we’ll meet again soon."
